”Don’t Believe It!” A poem by Musa Dzhalil of November 20, 1943.
At the various places where he was imprisoned, primarily in Berlin’s Moabit Prison, Musa Dzhalil writes his poems in homemade booklets and gives them to his Belgian cell mate André Timmermans, who is able to save them. After the war is over, Timmermans gives the booklet to the Soviet Embassy in Brussels.
