Preparations for Fritz Hoffmann’s beheading.
On June 1, 1942, the Reich Ministry of Justice instructed the senior public prosecutor at the “People's Court” to arrange for Fritz Hoffmann's death sentence to be enforced by the executioner Ernst Reindel. Fritz Hoffmann was beheaded in Plötzensee prison on June 12, 1942. His corpse was to be transferred to the university anatomical institute in Berlin.
