Enforcement of Emmy Zehden’s death sentence.
Emmy Zehden was beheaded in Plötzensee prison by the executioner Wilhelm Röttger at 1 p.m. on June 9, 1944. Regional Court Judge Klüver. who was in charge of enforcement, noted that the beheading took seven seconds.
